Bright and Cheery Challenge - FMS156

Tomorrow evening I'm volunteering at the Stampin' Up! Fall Conference in Kitchener (and will attend a couple sessions on Saturday). It's going to be so much fun!

There's a challenge to create a card to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, and the criteria is that it must be bright and cheery. To me, that screamed Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight, which are out of my comfort zone as far as colours go … so I turned to a Freshly Made Sketches challenge for inspiration.

Here's what I came up with - do you think it's bright and cheery??

Pony Party - FMS29

For this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge, I wanted to use Pony Party.  It's a very cute set that was begging to be glittered.  I popped up the wings and got myself covered in glitter - so much fun :)

Here's the sketch:

FMS23 Sketch Challenge - Raining Flowers

I've been inspired to play along with some Sketch Challenges recently, but I haven't posted any until today.  For this card, I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

Here's the challenge sketch and what I came up with:

Stamps: Raining Flowers, Language of Friendship, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry (retired)
Markers: Old Olive, Certainly Celery
Paper: Rich Razzleberry DSP from Brights collection, Whisper White, Crushed Curry (retired)
Tools: Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Boho Blossoms punch
Accessories: Crushed Curry ribbon (retired)

I'm not sure why the greeting looks so crooked in the photo - will have to try to get a better photo next time.  The Language of Friendship stamp set that I used on the punched flowers at the bottom is available as a Free Sale-A-Bration item when you spend $60 on product until March 31st.  Contact me to place your order today!
