I was procrastinating tonight on cleaning my scrappy surface and felt the urge to create - who am I to deny that urge when it strikes! I let the inspiration take me to this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge.
I decided to make my own patterned paper by using multiple generations of the images and then just inked a bit around the edges with the So Saffron ink. Then, once I decided I wanted to use the Boho Blossoms punch and didn't want to make more paper, I cut a set of flowers from the inside of the paper I had just made. Since it would be covered completely by another layer, it easily allows the patterned paper to stretch - I often do this to get the most use out of background papers (especially when scrapbooking).
Supplies:
Stamps: Betsy's Blossoms, Language of Friendship, Pretty Petites (SAB)
Ink: Baja Breeze, So Saffron
Paper: Baja Breeze, Whisper White, So Saffron
Tools: Boho Blossoms punch, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Large Oval punch, Scallop Oval punch, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack
Embellishments: Basic Rhinestones, Baja Breeze 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon
See - procrastination can be fun ;)
