Paper Crafting Blog Hop: Playful Pets Designer Series Paper

Hello and Welcome to our October Paper Crafting Blog Hop, showcasing our fabulous Designer Series Paper. Our group of Global Demonstrators are hopping ‘round the world to bring you inspiration using our Designer Series Paper and coordinating products.

If you have just joined me from Krissi's blog or as one of my followers, I’m so happy you stopped by!

For my project, I’ve used the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper. I love how this paper is both versatile enough to use as a background (love those fine stripes!) and also has cats and dogs that match up perfectly with the dies to let you cut them out as they are (so no colouring is required)!

I also used the silver side of a sheet of the Feels Like Frost specialty Designer Series Paper. These papers are so gorgeous!

And of course I had to add some of the scalloped lace trim as it's just so elegant and really finishes the look. I haven't added a greeting quite yet as I'm not sure who I will be sending this card to. I have a couple people who just adopted some puppies that I think this might be destined for.

The leaves from the Nature's Roots dies work perfectly here for some added embellishment (and seasonal feel), especially with the embossing. It's the perfect dimension to add in some interest.

Thanks for joining me! Now click on the image above to hop to Sandra's blog to see what fun project she designed.

During the month of October, Stampin' Up! has a sale on Designer Series Paper. It's a perfect time to stock up on the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper, among others. This sale ends October 31st, so don't miss out!

Each set of DSP is double sided, so you get twice the value ;) I really do enjoy using the Pets Dies to cut out the pets from the DSP and not having to colour them like you would need to do when stamping the images from the Pampered Pets stamp set.

It's less noticeable, but I also used a die from the Hippo & Friends Dies for the white shape behind the pup.

If you are in Canada and do not have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would be thrilled to help you get started ordering your favourite supplies. Whether you are shopping as a customer, wish to host your own virtual workshop, or are interested in joining my team to buy your own craft supplies at a discount or as a small business, I am happy to help you out!
