Collage stamping - technique swap

I recently hosted a technique swap amongst fellow demonstrators and included the card below as the 'Collage Stamping' technique.  I learned so many new techniques that I can't wait to share with you!

To do the Collage Stamping technique, I took my Whisper White piece and started with the lightest colour and the Travel Journal builder wheel and ran it over the paper a few times to create the hint of 'words' as a background.

Then I took the Music Notes wheel and inked it up with Crumb Cake and half ran it across the paper in a couple spots, allowing the ink to be darker in some spots and lighter as the colour wore off the stamp.  I didn't re-ink it until I moved to the next card, just to create some dimension.

I also stamped randomly a couple of the small elements from the Tiny Tags set in Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade.  I added the 'celebrate' postmark stamp from the Priority Mail hostess set and then the flower from Mixed Bunch in Elegant Eggplant.  Since the flower was so bold with that ink, I actually used a second generation image to soften the ink a little.

Supplies used:
Stamp sets:  Tiny Tags, Mixed Bunch, Priority Mail (Hostess), You're Amazing (the Happy Birthday is also available as a Single Stamp)
Stamp wheels: Travel Journal Builder, Music Notes

Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Elegant Eggplant
