Gnome Sweet Gnome and Mojo231 sketch

What a week it's been - everyone in our house has been sick; we've also had a dental surgery and are now recovering and trying to get back into the swing of things just in time for March Break.  Don't you just wish you could stamp and play all day?

I'm anxiously awaiting the new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate which should arrive tomorrow.  I can't wait to play with it!  Check out the video below to see some of the cool things you can do with it!

While waiting for the UPS truck this week, I've been trying to catch up on some swaps (one group was due on Tuesday and the other on Saturday) and play along with this week's Mojo Monday challenge.

Here's the sketch and my creation:

Isn't she cute??  I wasn't too sure about the gnomes when I first got them, but they're growing on me :D
I had been looking for some Island Indigo paper, but didn't have any on hand that would work, so I made my own with the Dot Dot Dot background stamp and my Stamp-a-majig.  A bit tedious, but totally worth it!

Stamps: Gnome Sweet Gnome, Dot Dot Dot
Ink: Basic Black, Whisper White craft ink
Markers: Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo, Soft Suede
Paper: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo
Tools: Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Boho Blossoms punch, Doily Sizzlits Die,
Accessories: Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon, Everyday Enchantment Ribbon (SAB), Pink watercolour pencil

Here's the video - with a warning though ... once you watch it, you'll want to buy one ;)

  1. Your gnome card is great! I love the combination with the doily - and I hesitated about buying that all this time but you sure find it versatile.
